Kilmacud score 10 Dublin award nominations
Dublin champions Kilmacud Crokes have received an ideal boost ahead of Saturday's AIB Leinster Club quarter final against Garrycastle of Westmeath, with 10 nominations in the 2004 football Blue-Stars.
Midfielder brothers Johnny and Darren Magee are included, along with teenage attacker Mark Vaughan, who scored 2-3 against Wicklow's St Patrick's last month, in the 60-player list.
Inter-county stars Stephen Cluxton (Parnells) and Na Fianna duo Senan Connell and Jason Sherlock have also made the selection.
Sherlock, the only Dublin player nominated in this year's Vodafone All-Stars, showed flashes of his 1995 All-Ireland winning form when scoring 2-13 in his county's six All-Ireland Championship games last summer.
He also bagged 1-5 in Dublin's NHL campaign, and 2-4 in Na Fianna's Dublin SFC run.
Ballyboden's Conal Keaney features in both hurling and football categories.
