Daly set to continue as Banner boss
Anthony Daly is due to be ratified as Clare hurling boss for a second term at tonight's county board meeting.
Despite a hammering by Waterford in the opening round of the Munster championship, Daly guided Clare through the qualifiers and to a quarter-final meeting with then champions Kilkenny, which went to a replay. The Cats progressed to the semi-finals.
The Clarecastle club man may have to plan without the services of Banner stalwarts Jamesie O’Connor, Olly Baker and Brian Lohan, who are believed to be considering retirement.
