GPA chief executive Dessie Farrell has rubbished speculation that he has been touted as a potential successor to Tommy Lyons as Dublin football manager.

Farrell and former Dublin star Keith Barr, both players on Dublin’s 1995 All-Ireland winning team, were rumoured to have held meetings with county board official John Bailey last week.
