Munster and Leinster prepare for semi clash
Munster take on Leinster in the second of the M Donnelly inter-provincial football semi-finals at Portlaoise (3pm) today.
Beaten provincial finalists Laois have four players in the squad - manager Luke Dempsey has included Fergal Byron, Tom Kelly, Noel Garvan and Kevin Fitzpatrick.
Kelly's International Rules team-mates Ciaran McManus, Mattie Forde and Dublin duo Alan Brogan and Bryan Cullen also chosen.
Westmeath Allstar nominee Gary Connaughton replaces Dublin's Stephen Cluxton in goal. His inter-county colleague Dessie Dolan was ruled out earlier in the week due to club commitments.
Meanwhile, Munster, who are managed Kerry selector Ger O'Keeffe, Limerick boss Liam Kearns and Clare supremo John Kennedy, have yet to finalise their side for today's game.
Spectators today have an added incentive to attend the semi-finals. Every person who buys a ticket will be entered into a competition for a four-day trip for two to Paris to join the team and watch next month's final.
The winners of this game face off against the winners of Connacht/Ulster in the final in Paris on November 14.
