Gallaghers set for Fermanagh comeback

Rory Gallagher is set to join his cousin Raymond and return to the Fermanagh football squad.

Ex-skipper Raymond Gallagher has already stated that he wants to return to the county set-up, managed by Charlie Mulgrew.

It's believed Mulgrew met with Rory and invited him back to a squad meeting next month.

Ryan Keenan, Shane McCabe and Michael Lilly have also been asked to return.

Fermanagh champions Derrygonnelly have also impressed Mulgrew - he has called up Kevin Cassidy, Paul Ward and Jonathan McGurn to an initial 54-man panel that will eventually be cut to 24.

Fermanagh, who were beaten in the Ulster first round this year, staged a remarkable comeback that lasted until the All-Ireland semi-final, which they lost to Mayo after a replay.
