Mickey Culbert has been appointed the new Antrim football manager after the county board opted for him ahead of PJ O’Hare.

Mickey Culbert has been appointed the new Antrim football manager after the county board opted for him ahead of PJ O’Hare.

Culbert led his club, St Gall's, to three successive senior championship titles in 2001, 2002 and 2003, as well as an Ulster club final.

O’Hare served as manager for the last two years.

Culbert's appointment will be announced officially at Monday night's county board meeting.
