Mediation talks on in Offaly

The Offaly footballers met mediator Eugene McGee last night to try to resolve the crisis in the county.

Five players met the 1982 All-Ireland-winning manager, who was appointed as a mediator two weeks ago when the players announced that they were on strike over the dismissal of boss Gerry Fahey.
