A Donegal club footballer has been banned for 48 weeks after an incident in a county SFL match in June.

A Donegal club footballer has been banned for 48 weeks after an incident in a county SFL match in June.

Glenswilly's Harry Gallagher was involved in an incident between his club and Four Masters in Glenswilly on June 26.

The County Board launched an inquiry following the incident, where several Glenswilly players surrounded Four Masters official Paul Duncan, an umpire at the game. Duncan ended up on the ground and was given medical aid before being transferred to hospital in Letterkenny.
