Mayo manager John Maughan has made two changes to the side that defeated Roscommon in the Connacht final for the westerners' quarter-final clash with All-Ireland champions Tyrone on Saturday at Croke Park.

Goalkeeper Peter Burke returns to the side and stand-in 'keeper Fintan Ruddy drops to the bench.

Former international rules keeper Burke missed Mayo's last two games after he suffered a mild recurrence of a knee ligament injury.

In the only other change, Peader Gardiner has been rewarded with a starting role after impressing when sprung from the bench in the provincial decider.

He replaces Gary Mullins at right half-back.
