Laois captain out of Westmeath tie

Laois have been dealt an injury blow ahead of today's Leinster football final replay against Westmeath at Croke Park.

Captain Chris Conway has been ruled out of the crunch tie after undergoing surgery to remove his appendix last night.

The Arles Kilcruise clubman, who also missed last year's provincial win through injury, will be out of action for several weeks.
