Rebels 'light years' behind Northern teams
Cork football is "light years" behind the standards being set in the North, Cork selector Colman Corrigan told the today.
Cork slumped to a 0-18 to 0-12 defeat in their third round qualifier in Croke Park.
Corrigan told the dark days lay ahead for the Rebels unless action was taken.
āWe are all going to have to muck in. Not just the players but the county board, right down to how our support is organised.
āWe have to look at things professionally because if we donāt then we will keep getting blown away,ā warned Corrigan.
āThere is a wider picture out there that must be seen. We are going to have to put in place development squads if we are going to try and reach the levels that the northern counties are.
āAt the moment, we are light years behind the northern teams.ā
