Meath make changes for Fermanagh clash

Meath have made several changes from the side that lost to Laois in Leinster for Saturday's All-Ireland SFC qualifier against Fermanagh in Enniskillen.

Due to ongoing defensive injuries, former Allstar forward Trevor Giles has been included in the

half-back line, as Meath look to bolster that area.

Giles replaces Hank Traynor who has failed to recover from a persistent hamstring injury. His defensive colleague Stephen McGabhann was also not sufficiently fit to be included, due to a foot injury.

There is better news up front, as Shane McKeigue, who missed the Leinster semi-final defeat through injury, returns at full-forward. Joe Sheridan moves to the left corner to accommodate him. Evan Kelly fills Giles' role in the half-forward line.

There are no places for Ollie Murphy or Graham Geraghty. Murphy is named on the bench, but Geraghty, who only recently rejoined the panel after a long absence, is not match fit.

Meath (SF v Fermanagh): D Gallagher; N McKeigue, D Fay, M O'Reilly; P Reynolds, T O'Connor, T Giles; N Crawford, A Moyles; E Kelly, C McCarthy, S Kenny; D Regan, S McKeigue, J Sheridan.
