Offaly are on course for just their fourth win in four seasons of Bank of Ireland SFC qualifiers, leading Kildare at half time at St Conleth's Park, Newbridge.
Full forward James Coughlan was providing the key with seven points (4f) before half forwards Pascal Kelleghan and Niall McNamee struck for late goals.
Kelleghan blasted to Enda Murphy's net on 29 minutes and McNamee cut through the Lillywhites defence to hammer home in injury time. John Doyle leads Kildare with four points.
