Lillywhites' Lacey in fitness race

Kildare defender Brian Lacey faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday’s All Ireland Senior football qualifier against Offaly in Newbridge.

The former All Star aggravated an old groin injury in the Wexford game and is rated as the main doubt on Kildare’s list of walking wounded.
