Casement Park, Belfast has been touted as a possible venue for the first test of this year's International Rules series.

GAA President Sean Kelly revealed last month that the association is keen to bring the hybrid sport to a new venue outside of Croke Park and increase awareness of the tournament around the country.

It has now emerged that Casement is a venue being considered and Ireland manager Pete McGrath would be well aware of the attractiveness of the venue from his time in charge of Down.
