Down turn to soccer star for league final

Down hurling chief John Crossey has named former Celtic youth team player John Convery in his lineup for Sunday's Div 2 league final.

Convery is currently plying his trade with Portadown in the Irish League but takes Martin Coulter's place for the Westmeath tie at corner-forward.
