Waterford leave vacancy in full-back line

Waterford hurling chief Justin McCarthy has left a vacancy at corner-back ahead of Sunday's NHL Div 1 final against Galway.

Eoin Murphy is suffering from a virus but McCarthy is hopeful the defender will make it in time for the Gaelic Grounds tie.

McCarthy has once again named his players in unfamiliar positions and will, as usual, make a spate of changes before throw in.
