GAA: ULSTER U21 FC FINAL:

ARMAGH 2-12 DERRY 0-4, Casement Park

Two first half goals from Ronan Austin helped Armagh to their second ever Ulster U21 football crown, defeating Derry 2-12 to 0-4 at Casement Park yesterday.

The Orchard claimed their first title back in 1998, against the same opposition.

Having dethrowned four-in-a-row winners Tyrone in the semi-finals, the Orchard county went about their work early with Austin netting after 10 and 17 minutes.

A brace points from Stephen Kernan, son of senior boss Joe, helped Armagh towards a 2-8 to 0-2 interval lead, with Ruairi Convery the only bright spark for Derry.
