Tipperary mourns death of All-Ireland stars
Tipperary hurling is in mourning today following the death of two former All-Ireland winning heroes.
The deaths have taken place of former Borrisoleigh and Tipperary hurler Paddy Kenny and former Carrick Swan player Willie Wall.
Paddy captained Tipperary to an All-Ireland minor title in 1947 and he won senior medals in 1949, 1950 and 1951.
Meanwhile, Wall won an All-Ireland medal with Tipp in 1937 at wing-back and captained the Carrick Swan team to a county senior hurling title for the only time in 1947.
