Sheridan sweats on verbal abuse report

Meath ace Joe Sheridan faces a nervous wait to see if he'll be hit with a two month ban after being reported for verbal abuse.

The alleged incident took place during a recent U-21 game for the Royal County against Kildare, with Dublin ref Shane Farrell officiating.

If found guilty Sheridan is likely to join his Seneschalstown clubmate Graham Geraghty under suspension with an eight-week ban a possible outcome.
