Camogie legend Delaney snubs Team of the Century party

Camogie legend Angela Downey snubbed the Association's Team of the Century gala ceremony at the weekend in solidarity with her twin sister.

The Kilkenny heroine was named on the team but opted not to attend the ceremony because her sister, Ann, was not selected.

Downey said: "I really felt it would have been hypocritical of me to attend and pretend everything was rosy in the garden when it wasn't."
