Offaly legend Errity hangs up his hurl
Offaly legend Joe Errity has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling after a glittering career that landed him two All-Ireland senior titles.
Errity has been the heartbeat of the Offaly and Birr team for years and has played in both defence and attack with applomb, winning All-Irelands in 1994 and 1998.
He'll continue at club level but admitted: "I'll miss the craic with Offaly. But once the club gets back it will keep me occupied."
