Meath star Geraghty set to renew appeal

Former All-Ireland winning Meath skipper Graham Geraghty is set to renew his appeal against the 48-week ban handed down to him.

Geraghty is alleged to have physically and verbally abused Dunshaughlin referee Jim Smith during a club game for Seneschalstown last August.

Geraghty's appeal will centre on a claim that the county board's Disciplinary Committee failed to notify him of a hearing and club sources insist he has a good case.
