Limerick manager Whelehan quits Birr post

Limerick hurling manager Padjoe Whelehan has quit his post as Birr manager in order to concentrate solely on his new job with the Shannonsiders.

Whelehan led Birr to three All-Ireland club titles, but he has now decided to commit himself to the Limerick team.
