Sligo star O'Hara nearing full fitness

Former AllStar Eamonn O'Hara is nearing full fitness again and is a targeting a February return to National League duty with the Yeats County.

The big midfielder went under the knife to cure a groin problem back in November and is well on the road to recovery.

He said: "At the moment I’m running again but in straight lines only and it will be a while before I’m twisting and turning and that will be the real test.

"All going well I could be back for the break in the league on February 22 but my main aim is to get over the injury and get fully fit first."

Meanwhile, Sligo face a strong Defence Forces side in Sunday's Connacht FBD League clash.
