Tyrone veteran Lawn may call it a day

Veteran Tyrone defender Chris Lawn is ready to call time on his career because of a groin injury that has left him facing into the unknown.

Lawn, 31, is currently on a five-month break from football and won't make any guarantees about returning for another season with the All-Ireland champs.

"I won't be hanging on with the county just to be there," he said.

"You can get selfish and hang on for too long which is not the way to do things."
