Brennan blasts Cats football 'shame'

Leinster Council chairman Nicky Brennan has hit out at the lack of promotion of football in his native Kilkenny and labelled it a 'shame'.

The Cats football team played DIT in the O'Byrne Cup on Sunday and the loss means the end of their county schedule for the year as they don't play in the league or championship.
