Carr revs up for Meath club Summerhill

Former Louth football boss Paddy Carr has wasted no time in returning to management.

He has been appointed the new manager of top Meath outfit Summerhill.

The club, home to former All-Ireland heroes Mick and Padraic Lyons, have pulled off a significant coup by attracting the former Meath underage boss who came so close to the big breakthrough with Louth in 2002.

Ironically it was Meath, with three goals right at the death in Navan, that broke Louth hearts back then and left Carr hugely disappointed.
