Underdogs give Meath a Royal rumbling

The Meath football team received a Royal rumbling from makeshift TV outfit the Underdogs at a challenge game that spiralled out of control on Sunday.

In the course of a 0-9 to 0-4 win for the Underdogs at Parnell Park a row broke out that involved around 15 players and took a matter of minutes to sort out.

A TV spokesman said: "There was blood and all flying and it was a real introduction for the players to tough inter-county football."
