Dubs make surprise hurling appointment

Dublin hurling chiefs have named Humphrey Kelleher as the new county boss following the departure of Marty Morris.

Kelleher is attached to the Naomh Mearnog club in Portmarnock and was part of a specially assigned committee to deal with the future of Dublin hurling recently.

Kelleher's opening game is likely to be the annual Bluestars challenge game between the Dublin team and a selection of the capital's finest players.
