GAA Director General Liam Mulvihill believes the future of the International Rules series could lie in the USA with plans to host the hybrid game Stateside.

Mulvihill says the GAA's AFL counterparts are keen to expand the series worldwide and said: "They are very committed to this project. Hosting a test game in Sydney, where rugby union is huge, is their ultimate challenge.
