Castlehaven through to Munster semi-final

Cork football champs Castlehaven have received a bye through to the Munster SFC club semi-final after the failure of Waterford to provide opposition in time.

Castlehaven will now face Kerry winners An Ghaeltacht on November 9 without having played a game in their provincial championship.

The Waterford championship won't be finalised until November 23 at the earliest and, despite Castlehaven's pledge to wait, the Munster council intervened to stop the championship being held up.
