Dublin to be broken up into three
The Strategic Review Committee will divide Dublin into three parts for administration purposes ending initial suggestions that the county would be split in two at all levels.
The new situation will comprise of three sections to be controlled by Regional Development Officers around Dublin who will be answerable to a Strategic Programme Manager who in turn will liaise with the county board.
A spokesman said: "By splitting up the county we mean to ensure more matches for club players, increase involvement at local level and cut travel time. This is particularly aimed at juvenile level, but will probably extend up to junior and cup competitions."
