O'Keefe seething over Browne tackle

Ireland boss John O'Keefe has hit out at the tackle by former AFL star Ashley Prescott that has left Declan Browne crocked ahead of Friday's test opener in Perth.

Tipperary star Browne was cynically tackled by Prescott and is suffering from a dead leg in the run up to the 43,000 sellout test at the Subiaco Bowl.

O'Keefe said: "I was upset by the intent of the foul. There was no intention whatsoever to play the ball and it happened a good twelve yards probably from where the ball was.”

Prescott said: "It was just one of those things that evolve in a game. I chose to make that decision which was obviously the wrong one in a split second.”
