Dubs hurlers support ex-boss Morris
Former Dublin hurling manager Marty Morris has received an overwhelming vote of confidence from his players following a squad statement that lashed the county board.
Morris stepped down last Friday after a row with the county board and the statement read: "Hopefully this incident will shed light on the Dublin County Board's apparent lack of support for two consecutive managers."
However, County Chairman John Bailey replied: "The manager resigned because the county board didn't accede to a personal request from him - one they couldn't grant because of Leinster Council or Croke Park rules."
