Cody to stay on as Kilkenny boss
Successful Kilkenny hurling boss Brian Cody will stick by the Cats for another year at least after agreeing to spear head the drive for a three-in-a-row of All-Ireland titles.
There was speculation that the James Stephen's hero would step aside after leading the Cats to their first All-Ireland double in a decade but he has confirmed he'll stay on.
Cody said: "I've been doing the job for the past few years and I've enjoyed doing it. Obviously, it's worked out nicely for us but I still have the enthusiasm to do it.”
