Flu bug hits Dublin camp

A bout of flu in recent weeks left Dublin minor boss Ciaran O'Hare sweating over the fitness of several of his key players ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland football final against Laois at Croke Park.

Reports suggest that six of the Metropolitans' players had been nursing feverish symptoms ahead of the big day, though boss O'Hare reckons they will be fit for Sunday.

O'Hare said: "I suppose if you are going to get the flu before an All Ireland final, two weeks beforehand is the time to get it."
