Geraghty loses appeal against suspension
Meath footballer Graham Geraghty has lost his appeal against the one-year ban he received for verbally and physically abusing a referee.
The Leinster Council rejected the former All Star’s appeal last night.
Geraghty was suspended for 48 weeks by the Meath County Board after abusing the referee following his sending-off in a club game between Seneschalstown and Ballivor in August.
