Lawn praises full-back McAnallen

Regular Tyrone full-back Chris Lawn has backed Cormac McAnallen to prove a real hit in the All-Ireland final after being repositioned to the edge of the small square.

The performances of young McAnallen in the position have kept the experienced Lawn out of the team but he holds no grudges against the English dynamo who is in line to deliver Tyrone their first ever title.

Lawn gushed: "Look at his defensive ability, the way he reads the game so well. He looks so comfortable under the high ball and driving out with it. Hopefully I can get some involvement. I’m sure the 30 men in the panel feel the same."
