Loughnane out of Limerick running

GAA chiefs in Limerick remain confident that they will have filled the county's vacant senior hurling management post within the next month.

But an approach by the Limerick County Board to lure former Clare supremo Ger Loughnane out of retirement to take over from Dave Keane has failed.
