McEntee likely to escape ban

Armagh centre-forward John McEntee is likely to escape punishment following his forearm smash on Donegal's Barry Monaghan in the All-Ireland semi-final.

The GAC used video evidence to suspend Tyrone's Gavin Devlin already this year but rumours suggest that the disciplinary board, who meet tonight, will ignore the McEntee incident.

That's sure to provoke a major discussion about the use of video evidence which appears to be only implemented sporadically and McEntee is the latest player to escape punishment this year.
