Geraghty banned for 48 weeks

Graham Geraghty has been handed a 48-week suspension by the Meath County Board.

The former All-Ireland winning captain was handed the ban for alleged physical and verbal abuse of a referee after a recent game with his club Senechalstown.

The 30-year-old two time All Star will miss Meath's entire league and Leinster championship campaigns.
