Dempsey denies contact with Offaly

Former Westmeath boss Luke Dempsey has denied that he was lined up weeks in advance to take over from axed Offaly football manager Paul O'Kelly.

Dempsey was quick to reveal his interest in the vacancy after O'Kelly's controversial sacking this week just eight months into a supposed three year term.
