Tipperary hurling star Noel Morris has revealed he fears for his career after sustaining what he suspects to be cruciate ligament damage in a club game at the weekend.

Morris, who joins John Leahy and Philly Maher with the same injury, was stretchered off in Loughmore Castleiney's mid division football tie against JK Brackens prompting cruciate fears.

He said: "There's a strong possibility the cruciate has gone. I'm 28 at Christmas and this could be the end of my career. When it rains it pours."
