Luke Dempsey has wasted no time in nailing his colours to the mast by declaring his interest in succeeding Paul O'Kelly as Offaly football boss.

Dempsey is out of a job after cutting his ties with Westmeath and is seen as the perfect man to lead Offaly back to the big time after O'Kelly's controversial sacking.
