Kilkenny in sweat over Walsh fitness

Kilkenny boss Brian Cody is sweating over the fitness of young star Tommy Walsh who picked up a slight hip injury at training ahead of Sunday week's All-Ireland hurling final with Cork.

Half-forward Walsh took a knock on the hip during Kilkenny's press night last Friday and despite playing through the pain barrier he retired earlier than his colleagues to the dressing room on the evening.
