Andrews plans to improve Louth
New Louth boss Val Andrews has revealed he plans to improve his inherited squad but is making no rash predictions about their prospects after a dismal year.
Paddy Carr got the elbow in the Wee County after championship losses to Dublin and ironically, Andrews' old outfit Cavan in the qualifiers leaving the new boss with plenty to do.
Andrews said: "They beat Antrim, Leitrim, London and Wicklow in the league and only Wicklow in the championship. That’s their record. It’s my job to improve that. They have had some exceptional footballers."
