Shefflin insists defence was key to victory

Kilkenny star Henry Shefflin has revealed that defence was the key to victory for the All-Ireland champs as they disposed of Tipperary in clinical fashion at Croke Park yesterday to book their spot in the final.

The Cats came back from a first-half to forget and eventually won out with plenty to spare prompting Hurler of the Year Shefflin to highlight the performance of his half-back line when it mattered most.
