Tipperary hurling boss Michael Doyle has left a vacancy at centre-back to give former Hurler of the Year Tommy Dunne a chance of making the starting line-up for Sunday's All-Ireland senior hurling semi-final clash with Kilkenny.

Tipperary hurling boss Michael Doyle has left a vacancy at centre-back to give former Hurler of the Year Tommy Dunne a chance of making the starting line-up for Sunday's All-Ireland senior hurling semi-final clash with Kilkenny.

Dunne, who did not train with his team-mates at Semple Stadium tonight, limped out of the quarter final win over Offaly and has been having intensive treatment since.
