Kildare delay team announcement

Kildare will delay naming their team to face Roscommon tomorrow evening until the 11th hour as they wait on the injured Anthony Rainbow and pray that Alan Barry is successful in his appeal against suspension.

Rainbow burst a blood vessel in his leg ahead of the Leinster final last weekend but should be back in time to face Roscommon, though the situation of Barry is more complex.

He was sent off last Sunday and received a two week ban, but the GAC have agreed to his request for a personal hearing this evening in an attempt to over rule the second yellow card and be cleared to play.
